Tarifa birdwatching

On friday the 24th we went birdwatching in Tarifa. We saw a kestrel, a short toed eagle and lots of swallows. Then we went to a bird festival full of stalls

Galeon Andalucia

Me and Dad visited a replica galleon at the harbour.

Madrid

Day 1:

On the first day me and mum caught a train to Madrid from Cadiz at eight o'clock in the morning. When we arrived we went to Ellen* and her baby Ian**'s house.

Day 2:

On the second day me and mum went into the Templo de Debod, a present from the Egyptian government to Spain as thanks to The Spanish government for helping the Egyptian government to build a dam to save some temples from being lost.
We also went to the Retiro to go in a little rowing boat. We slept at Ana Cristina's house.

Day 2:


On the third day we went to Faunia, a zoo in which you can go in the animals inclosures.

London

Me, dad and Carmela are staying at

Laila* and Aisha**'s house in London

Day 1:

On the first day we went to a park
which had some metal exercise machines.

The park also had a wood with a stream running through it.

In the afternoon we went to a library and read
some Tintin books and some Asterix books.

Day 2:

On the second day Me, dad and Carmela
went to an Italian restaurant in the middle of a park
with grandma and grandpa.

then we went to great grandma's house for an Indian
take-away supper.

And after that we went back to Laila and Aisha's house.

Day 3:

On the third day Me, Carmela, Dad, Laila, Aisha, Kevin* and Roz**
went to the cinema to watch Percy Jackson and the lightning thief in which a teenager
finds out that he's an ancient Greek demi-god***

Day 4:

On the fourth day we went to the Natural History Museum.

There was a very long queue which we were in for about twenty minutes.

A Japanese person put up a piece of plastic with a photo of old women printed on it and took a photo of it.

Day 5:
On the fifth day Me, Carmela and Dad went to the south bank to meet Dad's friend Richard and have lunch with him in a Latin American restaurant called Iguanas.

Day 6:

On the 6th day we planned to go to the royal Air force museum but because the satelite navigation for cars had got its addresses wrong it took us to the middle of the M1!

Eighth birthday party

For my eighth birthday party I did an ancient Egyptian pyjama party.
I invited Sam, Lucia and Rocio.
We did a treasure hunt in which you had to decode the names of places and in each place
you had to get a number for the code lock on the treasure box.
We also played a game called mummy wrap in which you and your guests wrap each other in toilet paper. And after that we went to bed and watched telly
